You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
You must not impersonate another person, create an account using false information, or use another person's account without authorization.
School Portal may request additional information where reasonably necessary to verify an account, protect users, prevent fraud or comply with applicable law.
We may restrict, suspend or terminate accounts that violate either all or any of these Terms, in line with relevant Laws and upon issuance of notice or appeal requirements.

Educational Information and Admission Disclaimers
School Portal aims to provide useful and accurate educational information. However, school admission requirements, cut-off marks, available courses, fees, examination rules and application deadlines may change.
Information on the Platform is for general educational guidance. Users should confirm important requirements directly with the relevant examination body, institution or authorized source before making admission decisions or payments.
School or course recommendations are estimated based on the information available to us and the information provided by the user. A recommendation does not guarantee admission, eligibility, examination success, scholarship awards or employment.
Users are responsible for ensuring that submitted academic results and personal information are accurate. We may flag, reject or request verification of information that appears incomplete, inconsistent or potentially fraudulent.
Where results are processed automatically or with assistance from artificial intelligence, users should review important outputs. Official eligibility decisions and admission outcomes remain subject to the applicable institution's or examination body's rules.
School Portal does not guarantee that all educational information will always be complete, current or error-free. We will take reasonable steps to correct material errors brought to our attention.
Independence from Examination Bodies and Institutions
Unless expressly stated otherwise in a written agreement, School Portal is an independent education technology platform.
References to JAMB, WAEC, NECO, Universities, Polytechnics, Colleges of Education and other institutions are for identification and educational information purposes.
DISCLIAMER; School Portal IS NOT an official representative, agent or partner of any examination body or educational institution unless that relationship has been formally established and expressly disclosed.
Official examination registrations, results, admission decisions and institutional payments remain subject to the relevant organization's official procedures.
User Conduct and Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Platform lawfully and responsibly.
You must not:
Submit false, misleading, fraudulent or unauthorized information.
Upload malicious software, harmful files or content that compromises the Platform or other users.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, databases or restricted features.
Manipulate examination scores, test results, rankings or leaderboard outcomes.
Copy, redistribute or commercially exploit protected Platform content without authorization.
Harass, threaten, defraud or otherwise harm other users.
Use the Platform to violate intellectual property rights, privacy rights or applicable law.
Interfere with the security, performance or proper operation of the Platform.
We may investigate suspected violations and take proportionate action, including restricting access, removing content, suspending accounts or referring suspected unlawful conduct to the appropriate authorities where legally justified.
Academic Content, CBT and Leaderboards
Study materials, practice questions, mock examinations and CBT features are intended to support learning and examination preparation.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, practice tests are not official examinations and do not represent official examination scores.
Leaderboards and challenges may use scores, participation, completion times or other published ranking criteria. Rankings may change as new results are recorded or corrected.
We may remove invalid scores, correct ranking errors or restrict accounts involved in cheating, automated manipulation or other unfair conduct.
Users must not reproduce or distribute copyrighted examination questions, study materials or other content in violation of applicable rights or license restrictions.
Academic Results and Document Uploads
Users may be permitted to submit academic results, examination slips, certificates or other documents for analysis, verification or admission guidance.
You confirm that you are authorized to submit the information and documents you provide.
Uploaded documents may be processed using automated systems or reviewed by authorized personnel where necessary for the requested service, verification, fraud prevention or support.
Uploading a document does not mean that School Portal has verified its authenticity or accepted it as an official result.
School Portal may reject unreadable, incomplete, inconsistent or suspicious submissions and may request further information.
Users must not submit documents belonging to another person without appropriate authorization.
The collection, processing, retention and protection of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law.
School Applications and Admission Support
School Portal may provide application guidance, document-management tools, admission information or application-status features.
Unless an authorized integration or written arrangement expressly provides otherwise, School Portal does not submit an official application on behalf of a user merely because the user receives guidance through the Platform.
Users are responsible for reviewing application details, meeting deadlines, submitting required documents and paying applicable institutional fees through authorized channels.
Application statuses displayed on the Platform may depend on information supplied by the user, an institution or an integrated third-party service. Status information may not update immediately.
School Portal does not guarantee admission, acceptance, a particular application outcome or the availability of any course.
Accommodation Services
School Portal may display accommodation listings supplied by landlords, property managers, accommodation providers or other third parties.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, accommodation providers are independent of School Portal and are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, property conditions, availability, pricing, contractual terms and fulfilment of accommodation arrangements.
Users should verify property details, provider identity, location, costs, payment instructions and relevant contractual terms before committing to a booking or making payment.
A listing does not guarantee that a property is available, suitable or free from defects.
Booking, cancellation, refund and dispute arrangements may be governed by separate terms supplied by the accommodation provider or applicable booking service.
School Portal will handle complaints concerning its own services in accordance with applicable law and its published support procedures.
Subscriptions, Payments and Refunds
Certain features may require payment or a subscription. Applicable prices, billing periods, included features and other material conditions will be disclosed before purchase.
Payments may be processed by authorized third-party payment providers. Their applicable terms may also govern payment processing.
Users must provide accurate payment information and ensure they are authorized to use the selected payment method.
Subscription renewals, cancellation arrangements, access after cancellation and any applicable charges will be disclosed at the point of purchase or in the relevant subscription terms.
Refunds will be handled in accordance with the disclosed refund policy, the terms of the relevant service and applicable law. Nothing in these Terms removes any mandatory consumer rights.
School Portal may investigate suspected fraudulent or duplicate transactions and take reasonable measures to prevent abuse.
Users should contact our support team promptly if a payment appears incorrect, duplicated or unauthorized.
Savings, Trust Fund and Financial Services
School Portal may offer education-savings or financial features directly or through third-party financial institutions or other authorized partners.
The specific service provider, applicable terms, charges, withdrawal rules, eligibility requirements and any relevant protections will be disclosed separately where required.
Unless expressly confirmed in the applicable service terms, School Portal does not represent that funds are held in a bank account, protected by deposit insurance, guaranteed to earn returns or covered by any particular financial protection scheme.
Where a regulated financial service is provided by a third party, the relevant provider's contractual terms and regulatory obligations apply to that service.
Users must not use financial features for fraud, money laundering, unauthorized transfers or any other unlawful activity.
School Portal will not claim to hold, safeguard or manage customer funds in a regulated capacity unless it is legally authorized to do so or the service is structured through an appropriately authorized provider.
Artificial Intelligence and Automated Features
Some features may use artificial intelligence or automated processing to explain results, provide study assistance, summarize educational information or generate recommendations.
AI-generated information may occasionally be incomplete, inaccurate or outdated. It should not be treated as an official examination result, binding admission decision or substitute for confirmation from an authorized institution.
Users should independently verify important information before acting on it.
School Portal will apply appropriate review, validation and safeguards to automated features according to their purpose and applicable legal requirements.
Intellectual Property
Subject to third-party rights, School Portal and its licensors retain ownership of the Platform's software, design, branding, logos, original content and other protected materials.
We grant users a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to access and use the Platform for its intended purposes, subject to these Terms.
Users must not reproduce, distribute, modify, reverse-engineer or commercially exploit the Platform or its protected content except where expressly permitted by law or authorized by us in writing.
Users retain rights in content they lawfully own and submit to the Platform. By submitting content, users grant School Portal permission to host, process, display and use that content as reasonably necessary to provide the requested services, operate the Platform and meet legal obligations.
This permission does not transfer ownership of a user's content to School Portal.
We may restrict or remove material where there is a reasonable basis to believe it infringes third-party rights or violates applicable law.
Privacy and Data Protection
We collect and process personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
Depending on the service used, information may include account details, academic information, uploaded documents, test performance, application information, accommodation preferences, transaction records and device or technical information.
We will process personal information in accordance with applicable Nigerian data-protection requirements and any other applicable law.
Users should review the Privacy Policy for information about data collection, purposes, sharing, retention, security and their rights.
Where users are children or other persons requiring additional legal protection, the applicable consent, authorization and safeguarding requirements will be followed.
Third-Party Services and Links
The Platform may link to or integrate with third-party websites, identity providers, payment services, educational institutions, accommodation providers and other services.
Third-party services may have separate terms, privacy policies, eligibility requirements and operational limitations. School Portal is not responsible for the independent operation of those services, except to the extent responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.
Users should review applicable third-party terms before using those services.
Service Availability and Maintenance
We will take reasonable steps to maintain the availability and security of the Platform.
The Platform may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, upgrades, technical failures, network problems, third-party service interruptions or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
We may introduce updates, security patches or changes necessary to maintain or improve the Platform.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every feature will be compatible with every device.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Platform is provided on an “as available” basis, subject to the commitments expressly stated in these Terms or other applicable agreements.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free content, admission success, examination success, accommodation availability or the performance of independent third parties.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, School Portal will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Platform, including loss of opportunity or anticipated benefits, where such exclusion is legally permitted.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury where such exclusion is unlawful, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory consumer rights or other protections available under applicable law.
Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, users may be responsible for reasonable losses, claims or expenses directly arising from their unlawful use of the Platform, infringement of third-party rights or material breach of these Terms.
This provision does not require users to indemnify School Portal for losses caused by School Portal's own unlawful conduct, negligence where liability cannot be excluded, or other circumstances for which responsibility cannot lawfully be transferred.
Suspension and Termination
Users may stop using the Platform at any time and may request account deletion through the available account controls or our support channels.
We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address serious violations, fraud, security risks, legal requirements or material misuse of the Platform.
Where appropriate and legally permitted, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
Account closure does not automatically cancel outstanding payment obligations or third-party agreements. Any subscription cancellation or financial-service closure must follow the applicable terms.
We may retain certain information where required by law, for legitimate security purposes or to resolve disputes, in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our services, technology, legal obligations or business operations.
The latest version will be published on the Platform with an updated revision date. Where required by law or where a material change warrants it, we will provide appropriate notice and obtain any necessary consent.
Continued use of the Platform after revised Terms take effect will constitute acceptance only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the Laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, subject to applicable mandatory legal protections.
We encourage users to contact our support team first to seek an amicable resolution of complaints or disputes.
Where a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be referred to a court or other dispute-resolution body with appropriate jurisdiction, subject to applicable law.
Nothing in this section prevents a user from exercising a statutory right or bringing a claim before a competent authority.
Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
These Terms, together with the applicable Privacy Policy and any service-specific terms presented to the user, form the agreement governing use of the Platform in relation to the matters they cover.
If a service-specific agreement conflicts with these Terms, the service-specific agreement will govern that service to the extent of the conflict, subject to applicable law.
